Swedish House Crafts - Pion Design - Where The Roses Grow!

Hello, lovely blogger friend's.

I'm on Swedish House Crafts blog today.

I have made a pretty feminine card with the gorgeous collection of Pion Design papers called
"Where The Roses Grow"

Links to the products are in text, and can be found at the end of my post.

I used Gummiapan old paper die to cut the base and layer the papers onto the card. I also used Gummiapan nesting stitched circles to matt the papers onto the centre of the card.

I used the gorgeous Roxstamps Curlicue decor edge die to cut the design paper, and fixed it behind the card front at the top.

I embellished the curlicue decor edge with 3mm s/a pearl flatbacks from my stash!

The image that I chose to use is one of three that are in the set. I love them all.

I used one of the Gummiapan nesting stiched rectangle dies to cut out the image.

I placed foliage between the flower arrangement using the Gummiapan twig pointy leaves, and little twigs dies.

I placed a couple of Gummiapan doodle circles, also cut with the design papers from the collection, between the stitched squares above the arrangement.

The beaded berries, and off white flowers with curls are available from the store.

All the other flowers are from my stash!

The rose water bottle, tag, border, and butterflies are included in the complete collection along with lots of other gorgeous designs on the sheets.

Inside the card is decorated to complement the front.

Thank you for stopping by to visit today!

Gingerbread Tilda - January 2018 Challenge At LHOSM

Hello, lovely blogger friend's.
Happy New Year!

It's time for our first challenge of 2018 over on the Lovely Haenglar or Sweet Magnolia blog
Our challenge theme is.....................ANYTHING GOES
Our wonderful sponsor is Wild Orchid Crafts

I'm sharing the Christmas card that I made last year for my Mum

I used Gingerbread Tilda from Magnolia Christmas party 2017 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Bristol board extra smooth cardstock.
I coloured Tilda with Prismacolor, and polychromos pencils, and fussy cut around her!

For the shape of my card I used Gummiapan Old Paper die, and Maja Design "Home for the Holidays" papers.
Other dies used are; Cheery Lynn English tea party doily, Sizzix holiday greens, Gummiapan nesting stitched squares, and button heart. Bird houses, swirl, and garland from Doohickey club vol 17 Christmas/Winter 2017.

The sentiment holiday wishes kit is also from Christmas Party collection.
I used Gummiapan stitched square die, and stamped the holiday wishes kit onto the centre using Memento rich cocoa ink, and sprinkled around the inside with shabby white embossing enamel.
I then matted it onto a larger stitched square with 2mm foam tape.
I decorated the top of the sentiment using the garland die from vol 17, and used the Gummiapan heart button die at the bottom, tied with a piece of red thread.

A close look at the flower arrangement.
The berries, wooden pine cones, and white paper flower/curls are from Swedish House Crafts.
The 35mm curly red rose, 30mm 2 tone brown rose, white flower spray, and 15mm olive green rose are all from my stash.
I placed the holly that I die cut from Sizzix holiday greens in between the arrangement.

A close look at Gingerbread Tilda.
I dotted Tilda's cheeks with a white gelly roll pen, and added glamour dust to the pom pom on her hat, and the heart inside the pocket.

Inside the card is decorated to complement the front.

Swedish House Crafts - Cloudy Love Tilda Christmas Card

Hello, everyone!

I'm here with another creation for the Swedish House Crafts blog.
I have made another Christmas card.

I used a couple of the new Roxstamps dies on my card. They are so delicate. They cut beautifully through my eBosser, and are great value for money.

Links to the products are in text, and can be found at the end of my post along with a special surprise for you!

I used Gummiapan old paper die to cut the base of my card, and layer the papers which are Maja Design "Joyous Winterdays" new collection. For the top of the card I used the new Roxstamps Curlicue edge decor die.

I used Tim Holtz Vintage photo distress ink to ink the edges of everything on my card apart from the arrangement.

I used the new Roxstamps heart wreath die to cut Joyous Winterdays chilly papers, and adhered it to the centre of the card on top of the doily.

I wanted to add some dimension to the hearts, so I decided to die cut the heart wreath again using the reverse of the paper, cut off the hearts, and adhere them one on top of the other with 2mm foam pads. I embellished the circles on the heart wreath with 5mm white pearl flatbacks

Cloudy Love Tilda is coloured with Polychromos pencils. I used Gummiapan Angelpost stamp to stamp around the outside of the centre piece of the heart wreath, and inked the edges with Vintage photo distress ink. I matted the image to the centre using 2mm foam tape, then I used glamour dust on Tilda's wings to give them some sparkle.

Here you can see the smaller floral arrangement. The cream beaded berries are from the store. The mulberry flowers and bronze angel wings are from my stash.

A closer look at the larger arrangement.

Inside the card is decorated to complement the front.

I have made a Christmas card.

I used Christmas Heart Tilda from Magnolia A Lovely Christmas 2015 collection.

Here is my card

For the shape of my card I used KoKreate large frame frilly #2, and Maja Design "Home for the Holiday's papers.
Other dies used are Marianne Design Anja's Vintage decoration, Sizzix "On the Edge" snowflurries, Joy Crafts Ice crystal, and magnolia Doohickey bloomy tag.

I have inked the papers, and die cuts with Tim Holtz Vintage photo distress ink.

I created a fireplace scene using the new dies from Vol 17 Christmas/Winter.
I added 3mm red s/a pearl flatbacks to the garland, and added glamour dust to the flame.
I used 2mm foam tape behind all the die cuts to give a lovely 3D effect.

I used some sticky alphabet letters to spell the word NOEL.

For the Festive arrangement I used green moss, a cinnamon stick, pine cones, and wine coloured pomegranate apples.
I used Sizzix holiday greens to die cut the holly, and place it between the arrangement.

A closer look at Christmas Heart Tilda.
I have dotted her eyes with a white gelly roll pen, and used glamour dust on the heart to make it all sparkly.

Afternoon Tea Day Three - A Gift Bag tutorial To Hold 12 Tea Lights

Hello, lovely blogger friend's.

I'm here with my third, and final picture tutorial this week for Swedish House Crafts blog.
This time I have made a gift bag to hold 12 tea lights.

(If you don't have tea lights you could fill the bag with treats or a gift?)

Above is my completed tea light gift bag.

To make the bag, I used Maja Design "Joyous Winterdays" Outdoors 12" x 12" paper.

The pretty lace, pearls, and crinkled seam binding are from my stash.

The die cut lamp post is the new Tim Holtz Sizzix Bigz die.

In the above picture, you can see the side of the bag.

I used the die cut Christmas tree that was left over from the centre of the bag, and inked the edges with Tim Holtz Vintage photo distress ink.

I decorated the tree with 8mm, and 3mm white, and green pearl flatbacks.

I coated the tree with Snow -Tex.

For the arrangement I used a cinnamon stick tied with twine, and rusty jingle bells on top of a bed of green moss from my stash.

The wine coloured pomegranate apples, and wooden pine cones are from the store.

The arrangement is coated with Snow - Tex.

To make the gift bag, you will need;
Maja Design "Joyous Winterdays" paper
A die cutting machine that takes A4 card/paper
A score board, and a scoring tool
paper trimmer
Scissors
Hole punch
Pencil
Ruler
Glue
Acetate
Gummiapan Christmas tree die
12 tea lights, treats or a gift.

The tutorial.

Cut a piece of Maja Design "Joyous Winterdays" paper to measure 29cm x 25.5cm

Position the paper landscape on the scoring board, and score at 1cm, 3cm, 22cm, 24cm.

Position the paper portrait, and score at 1cm, 3cm, 22cm, 24cm.

Keeping the paper portrait, you will need to score between the 1cm, and 3cm score line, and repeat again between the 15cm, and 17cm score line as shown above.

Position the paper landscape, and using a pencil draw a triangle in each of the rectangle boxes, and using a scoring tool, score on top of the lines. Rub out the pencil lines.

The above photo is how the triangles should look.

Keeping the card portrait, with the triangles at the top. Cut out the areas as shown above.

Next, cut the areas as shown at the top, and cut up to the second score lines at the bottom to make the tabs either side.

use a rounded corner punch to round the top, and bottom tabs.

Position the Gummiapan Christmas tree die onto the paper with low tack adhesive tape, and run through your die cutting machine.

If you are using a die cut machine that takes A4 card, you will need to fold over the score lines top, and bottom of the tree before running it through.

Fold in all the other the score lines. The triangle score lines should be folded inwards.

Turn the paper over, and adhere a piece of clear acetate over the die cut tree.

Measure 2cm down from the second score line at the top, and using a hole punch, punch 2 evenly spaced holes. The holes are to thread a piece of ribbon through, and tie into a bow.

Using distress ink, Ink the edges along the folded score lines.

I used Tim Holtz Vintage photo distress ink.

The bag is now ready to assemble

This is how the bag should look when assembled.

Decorate the bag how you wish!

I hope that I have inspired you to make a gift bag?
